WebMD due for a checkup

WebMD, the one-time dot-com darling, is facing a host of complaints about lost and incomplete claims that have jeopardized critical payments to health care providers around the country that rely on its software and services.

I know this problem intimately, working in the DSI technical support department. Unfortunately, nothing in this article comes as news to me. Envoy’s enrollment and EDI support have gotten remarkably worse in my time here at DSI. I wouldn’t even want to begin to estimate how many man-hours have been lost by us and our clients as a result of their incompetence. It’s sad when you know their support phone number better than your own cell.

Ugh.
