26th Birthday

26 years ago, Marianna Zimmitti and James Schlueter had their first baby, and named him Isaac because he made them laugh.

I’ve heard that “old” officially starts at 26. 30 is right around the corner, after all. My age is now more than 50% of my father’s, so I’m catching up.

I’m going to party tonight and try to not think such depressing thoughts ;)

I had my first surprise party ever on friday! (Would have mentioned this sooner, but it was a busy weekend.) I was thinking that we’d just go bowling with a very small number of people, and walked into a house decked out in streamers with a ton of friends and poker and beer and whatnot.

I greatly appreciated everyone coming to my birthday bash. (And those who didn’t but would have if you could have, your absence was regrettable but forgivable - thanks for wanting to come.)

I was completely 110% surprised, flabbergasted, and flattered. Thanks.

Special thanks to Jon, Geoff, and Fried for hosting and dealing with the mess, and to Breanna and Dana and Fried for doing plenty of legwork.

Happy birthday Isaac! 26 is definitely not old.

On another note, I’m getting errors on all of your rss feeds. They all have 404 not found errors.

    Happy birthday again!

Happy birthday. Your just a bit more than half my age, and no, “old” doesn’t start at 26. I’m hoping that old doesn’t start at 50 either as I’ll be there in a few months. ;) My mother just turned 75 and Dad will hit 80 next year, and they don’t seem old.

Given how much we like your contributions to b2evo, I hope you’re still contributing to it when you are their ages.

Have a great birthday, and remember, all those fireworks this weekend are for you. :D

Woah, completely passed me by. Which is surprising since it’s so close to Mouse’s birthday. Hope you had a happy.
